Japanese online shop
Found a set of wonderful Flickr images of Shinzi Katoh's work in retail shops.
Okadaya is a japanese online crafter shop whereas Fujisan is a online general shop-at least I think. :-)
Doishugei seems to be of a higher class and expensive selection of crafter shop, especially embroidery threads and supplies.
Still in learning stage and found that Clover is a craft tools and kit manufacturer that has interesting pages to explain uses and function of its products.
Lin Net is a cool japanese linen online shop - elegant and clean, enough to entice itchy crafter fingers to order.
BeinFait Make Matie is a name that is related to a magazine or catalog magazine available at most japanese bookstore - beautiful embrodery and needlework.

Cross Stitching After 20+ Years
The last piece of cross stitch I did was a school project apron which I hated so much because I was too fat to fit into the standard material provided. Earlier there was a fabric pencil case (of course all my stationary could fit in).
This warm up pattern is from a generous blogger with the help of stitching friends, is in the process of archiving her aunt's collection. I keep missing stitches, used 3 strands instead of 2, ended up looking coarse and haste work. Even the ends of threads are too long at the back. Stitches shown at the back not in the order that I would like. I am trying on a second piece with 2 strands and hopefully, less mistakes and better back finishing. I have a bad habit of keeping the back viewable.

Professional Artificial Flower Maker Legeron, Paris
This is not a paid post, though I would dream Legeron hire me to review their products. Spend time to admire Legeron's splendid creations. No pictures here as I am afraid this post might infringe Legeron copyright. Museum of Early Trades and Crafts features interesting early artificial flower making tools which is still in use at Legeron.
If you are interested in getting artificial flowers (though may never get Legeron quality craftsmanship and material) Hibiscus Florals supplies affordable range.
